Watching Wild Dogs (Lycaon pictus) the very day of my birthday was a great present. We were looking for them, from their prints in the sand, for 2 hours when we finally gave up for our Champagne sundowner. We had just clinked glasses when radio called (from the other 4x4 that was part of the chase with us) to inform that Wild Dogs were in sight. We rushed to the site for our first Wild Dogs spotting in our lives. We followed them during a quarter and finally got stucked and lost their tracks. A great moment in the track of this incredible dog. Unfortunately that occured by night so very few photos were possible.
